The openFrame can be equipped with a range of options for trans-illumination.
For traditional brightfield we offer white, colour and infrared LED (MonoLED) sources. However, in most cases we recommend our Aura, condenser-free, phase contrast / darkfield / brightfield illuminators, which give unrivalled access to the sample and leave the centre of the optical axis free. These are available in a range of visible and infrared wavelengths to suit your requirements.
