We work closely with a wide range of companies. In addition to our distributors and suppliers, we have a group of partners that we work with intimately. Together, we drive the capabilities of our and their solutions, pushing imaging technology and automation to new levels in the process. The range spans from companies designing software, over optical components and imaging modules, to providers of individualised (robotic) automation solutions.
Bliq Photonics
Based in Quebec (Canada), Bliq develop a selection imaging solutions, ranging from multiphoton to optical sectioning. Cairn-Ultimeyes are happy to be able to provide the Bliq SPARQ module in the EU. The SPARQ provides laser speckle based optical sectioning. We have worked closely on integrating the SPARQ with the Ultimeyes Microscopy System.
Chroma Technologies Inc.
Proudly based in Vermont (USA), Chroma are the developers and suppliers of the highest quality optical filters available. We are excited to be able to provide these to our customers – both standalone and as part of our complete microscopy systems. Working closely, we are pushing the capabilities of multi-colour imaging.

Hailing from Göppingen in southwestern Germany, CMO-SYS are providers of individualised system solutions for testing, measuring, and automation. Integrating computer vision (Cognize), Measurement technology (Measure) and software solutions for automation and robotics (Operate), CMO-SYS are an ideal partner for our efforts to drive automation in imaging solutions.

Headquartered in Hamamatsu City (Japan), with their Europe HQ just outside of Munich, and with the tag line “Photon is our business”, there is little to add on the capabilities that Hamamatsu bring to our partnership. We are excited to be able to integrate their scientific cameras as well as their new Maico confocal point scanner into our imaging solutions.
Inscoper
Located in Rennes (Breizh, France), Inscoper are driving the development of modern software for the control and automation of microscopes, or as they call it “the microscope brain”. Working closely, we are pushing to develop software-hardware combinations that take imaging to the next level in terms of automation and multiplexing.
ITK
Based in Wetzlar (Germany), ITK are experts in motion control. We are very excited to be able to use their hardware for controlling most aspects of the Ultimeyes Microscopy System range. In particular, we are proud to be able to provide their LTM 203 XY stage (the highest performant microscopy stage on the market) with our systems.
Omicron
We are proud to closely partner with Rodgau (Germany)-based Omicron, as the suppliers of the most reliable laser engines for microscopy. Most recently, we have worked closely with Omicron in the development of our Laser Bank Compact, integrating their expertise in lasers and our know-how in microscopy to bring a unique product to the imaging market.
Teledyne Vision Solutions
Formerly Photometrics, Teledyne Vision Solutions are suppliers of some of the best scientific cameras on the market. We are happy to be working closely with their European team, pushing (among many things) the large fields of view that their Kinetix and our UMS both provide, making them a perfect combination for scientists wanting to see more.
